Every time I see those stupid “it’s just a silly game the song didn’t need to go that hard” memes I’m always reminded of Casey Edwards describing making Bury the Light for Devil May Cry 5

that last one is really specific, and i wonder if i could've phrased it in a way that makes more sense or makes it easier to understand, but i don't know

most of these are more "thinking about these makes me irrationally upset/angry/sad, and i go out of my way to minimize any chance of encountering these, sometimes to my own detriment", i guess "phobia" fits more

i feel like "fear" has a specific nuance that doesn't quite fit with how i feel about these
since this isn't really "i can't go to sleep at night if i think about this", like how i'd imagine a child interpreting a "fear" (this was me as a child with spiders, snakes, and the dark)

and then, personally speaking, it's somewhat inspirational to me
everything that irritates me about youtube now is a like a guide on what not to do when i make videos
if enough people get sick of overly sensationalist titles and thumbnails, then it'll just make my videos stick out that much more!

though, on the flipside, it's not uncommon for me to get recommended extremely small youtube channels, sometimes under 10k views or so.
i'm also seeing more channels that're just "guy talking at camera about niche subject/personal life", to me that's basically youtube's essence
