I have a news flash for some high-ranking idiots:
You dont have to be placing extremely valuable hard-to-replace missile defense radars in known positions if you are planning to start a war with someone who is capable of hitting fixed positions!

I am all for building NPPs along with renewables and grid batteries - but only if they dont take forever to build and dont cost €15B per reactor.
In my case, mostly a nuclea power plant and renewables :)

Not helping to fund those stupid authoritarian oil-exporting regimes was one of my big reasons.
One small upside of another stupid oil price spike is that now there are relatively many good electric cars, so this stupid crap might motivate at least some people/companies/governments to accelerate the transition away from fossil fuels.
Regarding the 3rd Gulf War, I expect the lose-lose result - the Iranian military and the regime take massive damage, but the regime won't fall, and the US will have to walk away with much less than it has demanded.
Consider it an additional motivation to speed up the transition away from fossil fuels...
