Apparently, everyone else around here can get through to my Internet provider using their WiFi calling - everyone but me...???
Gemini seems to have figured out the issue on my phone when I try to call my Internet provider. Apparently, I can't use WiFi calling to call my Internet provider because said provider is rejecting the call due to a loop issue that makes them think I'm a fraudulent caller.
Try them in The Hague.

That Capital One shopping app is a load of shite. You redeem the coupon, buy the item via the app, get a confirmation number - and the credit never arrives. Then they tell you it wasn't a Cap One shopping offer. WTF.
Since I finally found a pair of eyeglass frames, perhaps I'll finally have some luck with shoes, as I need at least two pairs, if not three.

After checking my tax return after already spending several days getting all the crap ready for the accountant, it's finally done and gone. More days out of my life I'll never get back.
Although Godot finally arrived, we're incompatible unless I purchase a new universal battery charger. Apparently, Godot does not slot into the perfectly good one I already own since the shape on the connector plug thingie has now changed. I believe this is known as built-in obsolescence.

Very cool - I just heard from one of my former creative writing students in Blighty and he's just completed the first draft of a novel that developed from a scene he wrote during one of my uni workshops. It took him 20 years to get here, but hey, we writers are like a fine wine, eh?

Well, that's it - I've officially unalived my newsletter. And after looking further into the bot issue, I'm glad I did.
After all this fuss, Godot has finally arrived, delivered to me personally by the mail carrier. Although he fits the laptop, he does not fit the universal adaptor it was actually intended/designed for. 😭
Seriously considering deleting my newsletter for good. I've not found it a useful marketing tool, I rarely use it, and it's being inundated with dozens of bogus subscribers or bots on a daily basis. What do they hope to achieve by subscribing? I don't get it.
I've now sent out a search party for Godot. But I'm not hopeful.
