To be perfectly clear I think it's okay to depict someone in the depths of anorexia/ suicidal thoughts in a fanfic but tags exist for a reason, the saddest part is that behavior is treated as completely normal in the fic (no conversations about getting help no consequences for extreme restriction)

Currently reading an extremely popular and well loved fanfic and... I absolutely hate it. I could ignore the occasional bad writing that's trying to be #deep but it's just problematic there aren't adequate TW since the author seems unaware of just how dangerous the shit they're writing is
