First rule of a Macro March growth drive is you *gotta* have your character holding a smartphone in the first pic.

At the bare minimum, it should have the word "GROW" on the screen while they say "hmm, what's this Macro March thing? Sounds like fun!" You can add to it, but past that you're all set

Panel 1: "Welp! Here I go!" Licorice starts to grow next to a surprised Eclair. "What? Wait!! Why?!" Eclair asks.
Panel 2: Licorice is large enough to touch the ceiling. "Come on, haven't you always wanted to try outgrowing everything? To know that your body is the most substantial thing in all of existence?
Panel 3: To grow bigger and bigger, seeing things you once thought vast and incomprehensible become so small and insignificant compared to you?" Licorice needs to squat down to fit in the room. Eclair is unfazed. "No, I get that. For horny reasons. But why start inside our house?" She gestures at the couch. "We JUST GOT this couch!"

Damn Suda, you had to put this as just an off-screen mention? Give us the giant witch; the people clamour for it.

Like more of a guided tour of the universe vis-a-vis the scale of things rather than doing normal videogame things to solve goals.

Everything (that's the name of it) kinda plays with this idea by making the game about finding items to possess to shrink to subatomic levels, then grow larger than the universe into bigger, parallel universes, then find a way to shrink back home.

Really only sizey in abstract, though.

I've only known you through periphery and mutual friends, but I just want to say
- Congratulations
- I'm really happy for you

I've been working on a scientist character design myself, but it leans more into formal looks with decorative baubles and alchemical motifs.

But there's an idea in there you could use as well; something that acknowledges science in sizefic is another type of magic. Adding witch shit, basically.

As far as scientist stuff goes, I like what that Umamusume thing did with Agnes Tachyon, with the oversized lab coat on top of casualwear, and mysterious serums on ammo pouches.

Relaxed, but strapped with science like it was a sidearm.

I kinda want to try and do a YCH, but I've never done one of those before and I kinda don't know what people are looking for.

Been very busy with work lately but I'm gonna get back to drawing, hopefully sooner than later.

A goddess sleeping on a mountain range, with hair unfurling behind her. Most of the drawing is a light orange, with a blue gradient towards the top.

Sizebox.org The free sandbox game & creative tool for size enthusiasts, originally created by Aiiko.

Yeah, and at least the link to actually get it isn't only on Discord: www.sizebox.org

I think the biggest hurdle is that all of the custom models and locations are shared via a discord server, so it's hard to just browse or look for anything specific.

It's easy enough to use on a basic level with a bit of experimenting with it, but the higher end stuff like making scripts and making custom models requires a lot of knowledge I don't have.

Works well enough for me as a way to pose models or compare scale.

gotta make the scenarios you wanna see in the world sometimes (assuming the person who has the character is cool with it) [i'm guessing probably here]

Remembering seeing someone on the old website who commissioned giga art of their sona, but it was always with a flat earth and the firmament above it.

No idea who it was, but I respect the commitment to the bit.

Hey, is that...?

Ugh, that's rough. Hope it passes quickly.

Here's a couple of my own, and a sketch for a drawing of *someone* else's OC I happen to be working on.

I know what character I want to draw next for my warm-up thread but I think I'm gonna have to make some assumptions about how their outfit looks

It's also gonna be drawing a character who is not normally big as being v. big, which I usually avoid, but in this case I don't think the artist will mind

Whenever you see kaiju or other giants in the media, someone will be quick to point out that they couldn’t possibly be that big in real life due to the Square-Cube Law.

But what is the Square-Cube Law, and why does it mean people can’t be big?

The Square-Cube Law was first described by Galileo Galilei. Although better known for his discovery that the tides are caused by all the water on earth sloshing around as it rotates on its axis (Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems, 1632), Galileo also found the time to describe the relationship between the surface area of an object and the volume of an object as that object increases in size.

Imagine it like this: you have a block made up of individual inch-wide ice cubes, stacked three high, three wide, and three deep. Your block is composed of 27 ice cubes total. Now, you decide to make the block slightly bigger at four high, four wide, and four deep. Now the volume of the block is a whopping 64 ice cubes! And it only escalates from there.

So what does this have to do with giants not being able to exist? Well, as you stack more and more ice cubes on top of each other, they become harder and harder to keep standing due to how slippery they are. The larger a pile of ice cubes is, the harder it is to keep them standing. So the more inch-wide ice cubes - the titular Square-Cube - that it would take to build an object of that size, the more unstable it is.

Fig. 6. A 4x4x4 stack of ice cubes. Notice how this is more ice cubes.

This is why giants can’t exist in the real world, because a person that measures millions upon millions of ice cubes large would never be able to stand without immediately crashing down, unless it was extremely cold outside which would help keep them stable (in the terms of scientific law, this is referred to as Asset Freezing).

As a bonus fact, the Square-Cube Law also explains why ants are so strong. Since a single ice cube is the most stable unit, anything smaller than that is exponentially more sturdy. You can confuse an ant by surrounding it with crushed ice to trick it into thinking the Square-Cube is smaller than it actually is, thus weakening it.

Fig. 8. The Square-Cube Law in effect. The giant is too slippery to stand up.
Fig. 9. Under the right conditions, a giant could easily exist. This is why planets can be so large, because space is very cold.
