If you told me go out right now and find loads of people wearing lanyards I would head to the local hospital
If you told me go out right now and find loads of people wearing lanyards I would head to the local hospital
If nobody cleaned the hospital or took away the bins it soon wouldn't matter how good the doctors and nurses were
🍀🍀🍀
For example, poor people who are coerced into criminal activity by their families or associates get the full hammer of the law and no sympathy
Absolutely, and people in much tougher situations are judged much more harshly for choosing wrong
More evidence of a lot of right wing politics being getting angry about made up shit: this guy did not know who Chaucer was and did not hang out in Brixton
Me n this guy were both unskilled workers (me: pub, him: building site) and second gen Irish immigrants, the non racist one is the one who actually knows their way around Brixton though
I was age about 20 arguing with a guy about Bob Marley Way in Brixton, a white man doesn't feel like he's in his own country anymore, I said what about Shakespeare Road & Chaucer Road in Brixton? He looked at me annoyed and confused
If you told me I had to find a copy of Wordsworth in a flat on my estate by nightfall, or go to jail, I would go knocking on the doors of the old Indian guys
It's so mad, like I nearly died, please give me the thing that protects me that you have right there that takes you five minutes please please I beg you please
My mum, who is 73, can't get it. But we both get offered the flu vaccine
I'm immunocompromised and they took me off the list for the covid vaccine over a year ago so to get boosters I have to get the list of walk in places and go round till I can persuade someone to give it to me
I know people affected and they are single mums, carers, low paid. It's appalling
The govt position is terrible. The Reform position is worse. The govt position is still terrible and I'm really angry about it.
😊
The narwhale is made of cardboard
Oh maybe my favourite is this scary Walrus
I started making stamps with different things to do arctic mammals, my fave is the seal made from styrofoam
My stripey narwhale
the MP for my constituency will be whoever Labour HQ decide is standing in the seat, they are not somebody who has actually gone through a meaningfully democratic process, don't have a mandate and are not accountable
Also MPs are *not* representing thousands of voters in that way, I don't like my local Labour MP and I don't vote for her, if I was in a swing seat and felt obliged to hold my nose and vote for her, that doesn't mean I feel she represents me
I reckon they were probably about ten though
I squatted a jazz club approx 20 years ago and some of the younger occupiers were playing Jesus and Mary Chain and asking me if I knew this band and I said 'yeah I had this album when it came out .... errr I think you were five'
Hell yes, don't let them use the toilet, this is the real stuff
WHAT how do I not know this
Which core argument of the far right are the counter protesters agreeing with
(disliking the current prime minister is not a core argument of the far right, lots of people do that)
That is clearly not true.
You can support the principles of Labour and not support Starmer, the current leader of the Labour Party
Nobody is going to be checking a list of labour supporters, you can seriously just turn up
It's a counter protest. The name refers to hating *the leader* of your political party. You are free to attend or not attend as you wish but you are not excluded.
If you are a member of the Labour Party and you want to support the counter protest against the far right you can just turn up and do that
