This is how our government has been corrupted:
1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat
We must get big money out of politics. It’s the root of all evil in Washington.
One benefit for e-bikes I rarely see discussed but I feel innately: e-bikes mean fewer cars pass = fewer near misses in painted bike lanes.
If my average speed on an e-bike is 18MPH but only 10MPH on a regular bike cars going 35 MPH are much less likely to catch up to me on an e-bike.

I’m so appreciative of a city council that responds to the issues of the day with genuine concern and grounded political effectiveness.
Burchfield: I and several other councilmembers have asked city staff about what it would cost to retrofit all our city facilities with single occupancy stalls that anyone can use.
Misc Council Items: Councilmember Burchfield announces town hall coming up later this month, and thanks resident who spoke up about Transgender Day of Visibility. I wish we could just work on city business, but the state is making laws about who can use city facilities and made us responsible for it

The current crop of #Hospice and #PalliativeCare social media creatives using video are reaching people far beyond what organizations are able to do. And we probably need more of them doing this. There is a big information gap and connecting with the public could be key to the field succeeding.
Created a hub tonight for social media posts from #PalliativeCare social media creatives on Discord. It has a RSS feed that puts the posts from diff platforms all in 1 place.
Also hoping it serves as a place to discuss tips and tools and support when comments get nasty. #HAPC
