Even before the era of mega fires, I would not want to live anywhere close to a pine plantation.

That chart says it all!
Alison Penfold (Nats) was asked on ABC radio, in a congratulatory way, how she felt about being the first female representative for Lyne and she dodged the question! I mean how sad is that?! Could have used it as an opportunity to lift women up, but no.
ABC news Australia currently reporting (live cross from Delhi on free to air news) that Pakistan claims they have destroyed 5 fighter jets and 1 drone
Is RFK making plays straight out of Curtis Yarven's manifesto? The Butterfly something...I can't bring myself to read it
😧 omg
Sorry just checked again and it's only 4% on average over the last 4 elections 😖
The Guardian's 'Gina' podcast is awesome. The most recent episode particularly galling (and insightful) in regards to the family's treatment of Indigenous people.
Totally agree with this. We're in one of the oldest demographics (Lyne) and this is definitely the largest portion of the media diet for the older ppl. Nats are declining about 10% per election in their first preference votes tho, slowly we will get more progressive...
Oh lucky you! I fear the one in Lyne will now grow even thicker 😭 just an album of useless photo ops. Look at me the federal MP standing next to a footpath that the council just finished! And to replace Gillespie they somehow found someone even more insufferable...
Free education and training, free dental and medical?
Love this stuff and all its leaky red stain! Our kids call it "angry lady sauce". Eg "Do you want some sriracha with your noodles?" "Na just some angry lady thanks"
Wow that's an awesome photo!
Omg THIS 👇
Ah the busywork of the fossil fuel industry
Nuclear is so normalised as a benign energy solution in the US. So many centrist podcasts I listen to have no qualms about it whatsoever. Decoder said they would cover the topic soon, given that the big tech CEOs keep pushing it as a solution to their AI energy needs. Can you help change the story?!
Omg stop it! That movie is just too close to reality right now
Absolutely abhorrent. Can't believe this is happening
I found that headline and the tenor of the article to be overhyping what he actually said about nuclear. Seemed more like something ABC might publish, not the Guardian! Esp by following it up with a check in with Dutton. (I do love aunty, but her headlines are getting pretty click baity...)
