There was finally a really good sale and I was able to split up payments into tiny chunks, so I finally ended up with my own Fiio SnowSky Echo Mini.
All these years later, I'm finally realizing that said 50 Up all along. I always thought it said Soup as a kid. (I also never managed to get it back then.
π¨ Congress is advancing a bill called #KOSA that will ramp up mass surveillance and censorship online under the guise of protecting youth. In truth, this will endager everyone in the LGBTQ community, including young people.
Please go to stopkosa.com to tell Congress NO @fightforthefuture.org
That reminds me. I gotta turn on my Wii U so it doesn't die. It's still hooked up, and yet I can't remember the last time I turned it on.
Yesterday, the KIDS Act has Passed the E&C, and soon will be pushing into the house! This is a combination of KOSA, SCREEN Act, App Store Accountability Act, and other bills into one package.
Contact your Reps, and tell them to OPPOSE these bills! Stay strong, and fight for your rights and privacy!
That last Steam Next Fest made me realize something. It kinda reminded me of the joy I felt when I got demo discs in the age of disc-based consoles before digital downloads. I used to spend hours excitedly trying these demos, getting a glimpse at games of the future, just like in Next Fest.

Eliza's gonna be the very best like no one ever was.
Finally in the kitchen with new art. Eliza's a Pokemon trainer with some of my favorite PKMN I've ever caught playing the games over the decades.
Thx for the good times. #PokemonDay #Pokemon #WIP
Hey artists! QRP with your sketch vs final!
Made some Zelda (pokemon and Mario) pixel art for a DYKG thumbnail.
They're looking for it in their couch cushions
Your relationship is nearly an adult
Throw a Boop a bone
That's kinda what it's like with a lot of game franchises from decades ago when they get new games, even when they have more frequent sequels
i love being in my 30s waiting for the next installment in the Disney x Final Fantasy crossover action RPG series Kingdom Hearts
Guess that means... Welcome To The Next Level!

It's time for Mollie's yearly #Sega shelf update!
Here's my current Genesis/MD collection going into 2026, versus at the start of 2024 and 2022.
Didn't grow a crazy amount over 2025, but last year WAS a great year for new releases, adding 6 new games to my shelf through those alone.
Also, I refuse to accept that I really somehow spent more hours playing Team Sonic Racing than I did Sonic Mania.
But I do also have Sonic Mania on Steam, so if I add up my hours there, it's gotta be more than the 12 hours I put into TSR.
Yep. Call me a major Splatoon fan. Splatoon 2 was my first Switch game and Splatoon 3 is what I easily spent the most time on. That last Frosty Fest was fun, btw.
You played a lot more than me, at least on Switch.
My 2025 year in review with Nintendo Switch. I played 37 games last year for a total of 295 hours, and my favorite game I tried last year was Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory.
This game really reminded me why I used to love Kingdom Hearts so much in my teenage years. The music sure took me back. I really wanna play through all those games again.
I do try my best to draw daily. Here are some sketches from the past 2 days. #sketch #art
I think this is the only surviving piece from a neurotically yours fan cartoon I was working on in '23, where Da Hatta would introduce Foamy to sugar on grits then Foamy dies from squirrel diabetes. Unfortunately I seem to have lost the files.
You got it. I was feeling nostalgic for Jnco style wide leg jeans anyway.
A small little bit of both advice and a plea for using Bluesky.
This platform doesn't have an algorithm for content.
If your default response to seeing something cool is to hit like, take a second to hit the Repost button too.
Especially if it's a cool indie product, a show, some art, whatever.
I'm looking forward to a lot more news to write about and a lot of my own creative endeavors to show you all in 2026. I'm still having a hard time right now, but once I'm ready to heal, I'll get busy. Everyone have a good 2026 and Godspeed.
Finally, here's my favorite article of the whole year. I've been really interested in Sega Channel for years and I was so excited to see all this stuff made public all at once. I tried a lot of ROMs for myself and took my own screenshots too. Maui Mallard is plenty fun.

I was really happy to talk about this on SegaBits. I write about a lot of indie Genesis games, so I loved being able to write about something that can help others make a game of their own. Maybe I'll make a game with this one day if I come up with any ideas?
