Deltaviruses spread through a viral Trojan Horse
Hepatitis D-like satellite viruses, known as deltaviruses, have been recently discovered in a wide range of animals. These viruses are thought to exprβ¦
We found a viral Trojan Horse: a virus can hide inside another virus. This one surprised us: deltaviruses donβt just borrow a helper virus. They can travel inside it.
A literal Trojan Horse βvirus-in-a-virusβ route into cells. π€― Kudos to 1st author @viroscope.bsky.social and co-authors !

2. The flowcell is a special C8, not the 10B, or the smaller C2 version with 2 lanes
3. I omitted that TruPath requires version 1.4 of the NovaSeq software. The TruPath connectivity analysis is on software running on the cloud or local server, not the onboard DRAGEN

Ooof - I was sloppy on the Illumina TruPath Genome piece - easy to blame AGBT fatigue but that's a lazy excuse. The following errors have been corrected

1. TruPath doesn't have an "e" in it. About 14 mistakes = including the title!

Saying there's no singular anti-vaccine movement is like saying there are no democrats or republicans. Sure, everyone has a unique viewpoint, but there is an organized and well-funded outfit furthering a specific set of priorities.
RFK Jr's $497,000 salary came from somewhere.

Its still so baffling that in the age of Ai and wide access to information, more people are not interested in amateur biology. I'm not even talking bioengineering.
Tissue culture, breeding, microbial prospecting, biochemistry, etc.
The world lays before you undescribed, and yet

I have always liked watching ski jumping and I particularly enjoy watching this opening round of womenβs ski jumping because of how long the men at the ski jumping association insisted women couldnβt do it and blocked them for years.

I wonder how many plant species have gone extinct, but their genomic legacy lives on as intact subgenomes of extant allopolyploids.

If this works, we can essentially produce two species out of a single allopolypoid (de-hybridization). If the original donor of a subgenome has already gone extinct, we would be able to de-extinct it for real.
Wow. Sounds so cool in my head.
