Taking advantage of a heavily discounted NYT subscription while i can. Kimchi and Potato Hash. Recipe in comments. π½οΈ
Spinach Artichoke Chicken Soup! It's lime the dip but you don't feel as bad eating a whole bowl. Recipe from NYT (in comments), but adjusted for lactose intolerance, and I doubled the broth. π½οΈ
Which, neat. That is a neat thing Leo learned. But why can't I find sound dork discussions?
Me 30 seconds after the first Xmas Adventure Club scene in #onebattleafteranother : Oh, get it? It's a Christmas song sung by a black woman because they're white supremacists!
The internet: He knew the whistle!
Grilled cheese. But not your childhood's. This is vegetable ash dusted sheep's milk cheese with green onion and pickled jalapeΓ±os on Jewish seeded rye. But it's friendly to my lactose intolerant peeps. π½οΈ
NYE seafood boil. The way I intended it. Featuring a mediocre Cajun butter to dip! π½οΈ
Anchovy paste
Okay, ya got me! The croutons are store bought.
Wife wanted a Caesar salad. Figured I'd make it from scratch. π½οΈ
Christmas Night should be simple. π½οΈ

Soup Season continues with Somali Chicken Soup! While not personally a fan of this nomer, I intend to find out if there's a traditional name. Anywhatsit, it's spicy, salty goodness. π½οΈ
Super easy and mostly healthy. Can of artichoke hearts, some chunky garlic/herb spaghetti sauce, and whole wheat pasta. Season as you like. π½οΈ
Solid finish! It's too good! π½οΈ
Hell yeah, kids! It's finally cool enough in KC for soup! Kicking things off with potato leek because, duh. Now we wait for magic. π½οΈ
Making these later this week! Thanks!
Better to retrace your stirs until you've gone back enough to ease into an occasional stirring rate.
Tonight felt like a frittata kind of night. While my wife and I initially disagreed over who would make it (we split the work), it came out just swell. π½οΈ
Sauce wasn't measured but includes:

Been a bit since I made something photogenic. Here's a garlicky, gochujang-teriyaki tofu and green beans for another Meatless Monday! π½οΈ
