We decry the murders of community members and at least 37 people in ICE custody and enforcement in 2025. We reject false narratives that state violence is "unavoidable," a "justifiable military action," necessary for "national security"—the same arguments used as they forced our parents, grandparents, aunties, and uncles into U.S. concentration camps in 1942. On this Day of Remembrance, we call on Japanese Americans and all people who believe in "Never Again" to demand justice for those we have lost—on the streets and hidden away in ICE detention centers. To break this cycle of state violence. To rise up and resist, together. We bravely commit to being the allies our familes needed during WWII. 84 years ago today, President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066, ordering the removal and incarceration of more than 120,000 Japanese Americans, about two-thirds of whom were US citizens. The Day of Remembrance this year comes as we see DHS buying land and warehouses for more camps now.

I’ve been thinking back to this photo I took in 2020 of a sign that Tatsuro Matsuda put up in his shop the day after Pearl Harbor. Today is the anniversary of Executive Order 9066, and I hate that this history I worked to preserve is happening again. We cannot let it continue. Fuck ICE.
On February 19, 1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed E.O. 9066, authorizing the forced relocation & incarceration of more than 125,000 Japanese Americans, solely because of their heritage.

Delighted to announce Hatchlings Design, a course for teenagers (starting locally), offering students an opportunity to write and publish their own solo TTRPG. The course will use the Carta system by @catlinggun.bsky.social and lean heavily into developing themes and improving literacy.

I got some wild ass news this morning.
On a whim, I applied to further my acting training and I got accepted to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London for an advanced acting short-course. I’m still in shock about it, but I do need to raise funds for my time over there. I made a GFM—
