All that waste. And yet there are people on here criticising a government in power for under 2 years because they can’t fix 14 years of chronic underfunding of public services and the armed forces.
No legal basis. No clear objective. No exit. And much of Britain’s political class spent the week calling Starmer a coward for noticing.

I am cautious about anyone feted by the media. I remember a short step from “oh Jeremy Corbin” at Glasto to the 2019 election when the enthusiasm didn’t translate to votes and scared the core centrist electorate so much that it swept in Johnson and a disastrous Brexit.
