oh hell yeah
oh hell yeah
Yeah it feels like that for sure, and also no interconnection between zones. It's a hub and spoke thing, which makes it feel very linear. It's still fun, and the art is great, but I think it would have benefited from old metroid/dark souls interconnection
I find the desert truly baffling, it's just... a space. An empty space.
Here's Devlog #9 for Croakwood, about object placement tools!

Today is the 7th anniversary of Parkitects release ๐ฅณ
We've put together a retrospective blog post about the games development:
store.steampowered.com/news/app/453...
(Also Parkitect is on sale currently at -66%)
Now make it work in VR :)
That and maybe maya, not sure :(
I've been thinking about this but am kinda terrified of all the various art software I use for work not working and needing to learn alternatives or something
We just posted a recap of our time at @vangamegarden.bsky.social on our blog!

Everything covered by a roof stays looking dry ๐

I kind of always viewed SH games from the pov that they sort of should have exhausting combat that you get sick of eventually, which could help the horror of it. Like by the end you feel as done as the main character
Fine line to walk though with it being a video game people gotta play and enjoy
Hey hey I can finally share what I've been up to which was creating concepts and models for the Dinos & Dynasties Parkitect DLC! ๐ Had a blast working on these, we hope you all enjoy! :D
(tried making a quick shrine to display my Minotaur son ๐)
(ps: Parkitect is on sale, 60% off!! ๐)
Surprise, we just released a new deco-focused DLC for Parkitect!
Dinos & Dynasties adds two new themes (Dinos and Ancient World) and three new attractions.
There's also a free update that adds a cheat menu for sandbox mode.
Get Dinos & Dynasties here: store.steampowered.com/app/3919200/...

Both games have enamored me in such a way. Going from something super serious to something super absurd moment to moment and just shaking my head going "my god he's done it again"

The series for Tales From the Loop was quite good, and hit the introspective and surreal tone of the book well I found. But Electric State was a super odd series of choices and... man
I turn it on for some games and then promptly turn it off when I'm done cus yeah it ain't great
Just released a new post on the Croakwood devlog about how the houses work from a gameplay and technical perspective:
