We dedicated this one to Chester Martin, a bat conservation hero in the eastern USA. He contributed to conservation with his research and amazing art works. He was always kind to me at bat meetings.

You could potentially discuss how disease could be exacerbated by contaminants (weakened immune systems, etc). Thinking of a recent paper about mercury and avian influenza. Iβll try and find it. Iβve been working on these topics myself with White-nose syndrome impacted bat species.
