Tracking fish with acoustic transmitters, following bird migrations with GPS-tags, assessing wildlife presence with camera traps and monitoring presence of marine mammals with passive acoustics are all interesting examples for which we welcome submissions !!!

@Day 2 of #ICTC26, Wild Moves and Wild Album were launched! Wild Moves is the GBIF-mediated animal tracking data portal developed by the Data Standardisation Working Group of the IBLS (Peter Desmet, INBO) and hosted by @wildlabs.bsky.social .

The International Bio-Logging Society is among the 15 partner organizations that contributed to the organization of the event.

The Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research (Leibniz-IZW) is seeking a scientist in wildlife biology, ecology, or a closely related discipline, with a focus on movement ecology, spatial data analysis, and/or scavenger and carnivore systems.
