I work with children's authors at all stages of their writing & publishing journey, from their initial idea or draft manuscript to working with illustrators, publication, & beyond.

I don’t encroach on their illustration or creative practices.

Instead, we focus on nailing the all-important front & rear covers, internal layouts, & the technical specifications specific to the publishing world.

I'm a multi award-winning children's author, & after year working with children who needed extra literacy support, it was a joy to be back in school for World Book Day, delivering my creative writing lesson on creating engaging characters.

I celebrated World Book Day with pupils from primaries 1 to 4 of Stockbridge Primary School in Edinburgh.

After reading from The Fairy in the Kettle, I gave my creative writing lesson on creating engaging characters.

The children then created their own fantastically brilliant & unique characters.

🌟 I was honoured to be invited to adjudicate this year's Scottish Association of Writers competition for writing for the Under 7s. I'll be emailing the results later this week.

🌟 I've also been invited to give a workshop at the Scottish Association of Writers annual conference later this month.

The March edition of Writers' Narrative is out, & this month's theme is historical fiction & non-fiction.
