Dragon is old Dwarven Tongue from "Dragan" or "Draganar" which means "lizard with wings"
and FINALLY Draconis is the formal, scienfitic term in The Age of Scholarship by healers n such, who adopted the old Dwarven word "Drakonys"
Wyvern comes from a slightly later Dwarven Dialect "Vi'varan" which literally means "Split-tailed lizard" or "winged serpent"
things i have come up with - Wyrm comes from "Vyrm" or "Vurm" and literally means "Big earth-lizard" or "Serpent of the deep"
been learnin too much about lizards in the last like 6 hours.
