I get that blocklists can be useful but they also do so much damage and are very easily weaponized to accuse people of heinous things without having to show proof at all. someone could very easily make a pedophile blocklist and put a bunch of random people on it and effectively ruin their reputation
I also want to add this isn't just about anti vs proshipper stuff but also about the fact that a suspicious amount of of blocklists in general are comprised of transgender people and that shit don't fly by me
I do also wonder if these list creators have ever stopped to think why the trans community condemns this stuff. Despite it just being plain wrong a lot of trans people specifically have been accused of this heinous shit for being trans, so of course we're going to be against this behavior.
"don't use this list for drama but make sure to isolate yourself from all these transgender people!" all these lists do is open people to harassment, and the list creators know that but don't care.
Notice how these lists are almost exclusively filled with queer, specifically trans people? This is what I mean by zoos/pedos being being bigots bc even if they are queer themselves, they are perfectly comfortable throwing queer and trans ppl under the bus to continue being zoos/pedos.
