Also I really like them and they seem to be the least popular ship for Anon and you know how I roll with the rarepairs.

Even canon ships can be rarepairs if no one cares about them!

And when you see how Anon absolutely contradicts so much of how Saki approached things with Tomori it stands out even more.

AnonMori and SakiUeka are these gorgeous foils for each other and with each rewatch you can see how delicately they mapped it out.

That’s my point more than anything!

Canonically presented in the show and *why* it makes sense to me.

Like I definitely think Anon could work with Taki or Soyo, but the show gave us this beautiful relationship between AnonMori and it’s one of the rare times I have no beef with it, because it’s exquisitely designed

The number of times Taki had a “wait what the fuck???” Expression on her face.

And she takes it out a little bit on Anon but never in ways that go way over the line. In the end she’s perfectly gracious.

Challenges her in the ways that she needs to be challenged and vice versa! Taki would accept anything Tomori through at her and Taki wouldn’t push Tomori— and unfortunately as polite as that is, you don’t grow that way!

Oh don’t get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Taki with all my being. She’s protective, she’s smart, she’s gorgeous— it’s just that in that moment she wasn’t what Tomori needed, is all. It’s painfully unrequited, I felt so bad for her.

But she does end up with Umiri who I think is perfect for her and

The visual storytelling alone is top notch. Just Tomori sitting with a whole seat in between herself and Taki, sitting in the one next to the stray cat and sharing one cushion with Anon.

The way they agree to move forward together and then you see two penguins dancing and swimming together…!

Everyone is so lucky I’m not dumping my thesis on Anon x Tomori along with the billion screen caps I’ve taken that highlight how perfectly and thoughtfully their relationship has been written and unfolds.

I definitely get that though. There are things that I know are *so good* and well made but my brain is like “yes but I prefer this!”

Oh yeah, Ave Mujica goes pretty hard. Their dynamics are radically different from MyGo so from the start the show feels much more confrontational. Overall I preferred MyGo but the music in AveMujica is better and the girls and dynamics are chefs kiss for me.

And I’m feral for Saki x Uika.

Really feels like *her* girl and they just really help each other out and it’s sweet and I’m here for it!
