Our Trumper TX house is near San Antonio and while campaigning for Harris I was about to blow a fuse trying to get Latino MAGA neighbors to understand that Trump might come for them if elected.
They get it now.
(Half my family is Latino and thankfully they’ve always hated Trump.)

I put almost all my money in CDs when Trump was elected the first time. I renew them when matured & now make 3.75 to 5%. Pays for all my expenses.
I also have some fun money in the markets to play the TACO trades. (Have made a lot on Trump’s craziness, but don’t recommend to inexperienced traders.)

It’s all heartbreaking. I was born in Houston District 18. Spent my childhood with friends of all colors.
Decades later had a gun pulled on me while campaigning for Harris in our MAGA TX town.
I’m so tired too.

How much time do you spend in a neon red Texas county? We have a house in one. How many neighbors do you have who fly Christian Nationalist flags? Do you have any MAGA friends? Do you go to BBQs or the gun range or the bar & talk with such people?

My family has been here since 1873. Those alive now are not going anywhere. Staying to fight for the state we love.

I worked in Texas govt for 30 years. Know this state inside out. It’s a real concern that the Black voters Crockett enthused may not turn out for Talarico.
Alternative is more GOP criminality, which will hurt all Texans.
My guess is another Beto scenario. We lose by a small margin.

We have to get GOP out of power in this state. I love Crockett, have donated to her, and she’s going to be a huge voice for years to come.
I spend 1/2 my life amongst MAGAs. Some are sick of Trump. Talarico might have a chance.
