The truth is that FOM was a right conferred from membership of the Eu, Schengen or reciprocal agreement and leaving the EU has removed that right from the UK
We never had an inherent right to FOM
The UK would either need to join EU or make an agreement with the EU for reciprocal FOM to restore it
