Headline from British Vogue I Ate Nothing But Sardines For 3 Days - Here's How My Skin Changed with a photo of a sardine
Only British Vogue has the courage to publish true science as it was practiced in the 18th century Transactions of the Royal Society
Very much looking forward to my talk on Friday at Louvain-la-Neuve on Thomas Kuhn's work on the history of quantum physics. It seems like there should be a livestream/recording as well, so no excuses not to follow

The department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences at Ghent University is proud to present a lecture series on the topic of eugenics. As philosophers and ethicists, we are concerned about the revival and normalization of eugenic discourse.

Yeah but then Collins (I suppose) would just reply that, if you look at how disputes about eg experimenter regress situations are resolved is no different between orthodox and heterodox sciences, so descriptively there's no basis for distinguishing them: people act the same way in both cases
I don't see why Collins would not count as philosopher of science, given his use of, and responses to, Wittgenstein, Kuhn, etc.
There's the work of Harry Collins on experimenters' regress problems, where he relied on historical studies of both gravitational waves and parapsychology to showcase how the regress was overcome in all cases in the same way

Very cool, great job Tullio!

We have a similar approach, with max 4 master students per supervisor (+ max 4 bachelors). If they don't come to the meetings or don't do the work, they can still submit, but then the supervisor communicates beforehand to the other assessors that they can't vouch for the work.
Dear BlueSky friends, does anybody by any chance have access to this book-review? Many thanks!
