The caffeine sadly doesn't do anything to keep me awake - and I don't remember it ever having that effect in the past...

I do know that I am thankful for 2025. It was a good year. It was a busy year. It was a challenging year. And I feel like a better person after it!

If I had to pin a song to it, the music that best captures the vibe of this year for me is Runner by Bakufu Slump.

So, what’s the plan for 2026?

More art, more videos, more time spent with friends & family... and being happy and having a good time :]

Or will 2026 be the year where I go full Spamtonmode, Deal Gone Wrong style, as I squander every opportunity that I currently hold? LIVING IN A GARBAGE CAN!?!?

In any case, I have met many wonderful people this year & made new bonds. I love my friends and I am blessed to have many great ones, online and IRL. My only regret is not giving some of my dearest friends the time I would like to have given them. But there shall be opportunity to make up for that!

I replaced the time-wasting with games and shows/anime; for 2026 my goal is to turn some of that time into increased creative output. :3

There are also smaller sore points; I still have many flaws to work on and I have become quite bitter by surrounding myself with the exhausting AI discourse… x_x

On an emotional level, it’s been a good year.
I’ve made progress in being at peace with & loving myself. I feel more confident & I got closure on some sore points that had been eating away at me for a long while.

I also improved my content diet, phasing out a lot of idle Youtube / Doomscrolling.

And to make me feel even more like an adult, this year I moved together with my boyfriend @noah-amp.bsky.social! All the planning and all the execution were done by us alone, from renting a van to doing the paperwork.

It's a beautiful thing that it all worked out perfectly.

It feels like the year where I finally truly crossed into adulthood proper.

After years of bouncing between studies and jobs and such, I finally received my professional diploma to work in banking. It’s not quite a degree, but I now have a well-paid job that I genuinely enjoy!

2025 may have been one of my most eventful years to date - and my life has been left turned upside down!

To start with a small downer: creatively, I was less productive than I aimed to be. But that won’t be what will stick out in my memory about the year.
