Exactly! I just don't need, nor can afford another system just for a few games so I'll have to stick to the wide world of PC options and might pick up a switch 2 down the road as it's better for playing with the family than a PS5 is.

I think there are two reasons why Gen 1 still has my heart.
1) it was my first Pokemon game
2) there was a lot less to remember between the sheer number of mons and types now I just nope right out.
