I don’t see a risk from a group of protesters in tents.
But the intent of 10/7 terrorism was to create irrational and excessive fear.
The college should try to address the fears of all students.
Not easy or simple. But they are making sound decisions and acting carefully.
Also an alumni. I think the Administration’s response in this specific instance was respectful and reasonable.
The combination of non-students, masking to prevent identification, and tents render this less about free speech.
My son and his wife had us watch this show when we were visiting. After about 5 minutes, I said, “Wait a second, is he related to…”
