I always wanted to play the Atelier series, but never got around to it until now. Glad I waited for the DX versions. The Dusk trilogy has been a blast so far and an excellent entry point into the series 🎮
It’s a great follow-up! I like Ayesha a little better because Ayesha has a stronger story and characters. Escha & Logy has the better crafting and battle system. The new characters introduced are pretty weak. The Ayesha characters that appear in E&L are the standouts.
Also all amazing games! Really can’t wait for The City Town to release for Hello Kitty Island Adventure on Steam.
FFIV is also such a great FF game! Hope you’re enjoying it.

It’s really good! I like that it differs a bit from the anime, but still hits the same beats. It’s nice that it’s not exactly the same. Hopefully it means we get more arcs. The art is also very detailed and beautiful!

Congrats on finishing!! Next Class does still feature Maya and Frankie’s classes so it depends on if you want to include how their characters and arcs are from Next Class too in the tier rankings. Zoe feels sometimes like a completely different character and Maya has a really good arc in NC Season 3

Final thoughts pending, but I like it a lot so far! I’m only in Chapter 2. So far it’s hooked me more than The Red Bell’s Lament. Story just seems stronger. I don’t think it’ll beat Even if Tempest, but will be better than TRBL
Going to try and finish Temirana first and then go back to Neon Clash.
