Today someone got the words “repository” and “suppository” briefly confused on a teams call and I managed not to say anything inappropriate or laugh or anything. You have no idea how difficult this was.
@pingosaurus
Professor of Physics, fires X-rays at things, apparently Associate Pro Vice Chancellor for Research for Science and Engineering at *a university*. Also sings a bit, makes stuff, and is inexplicably attractive to cats that aren’t mine.

You know the rules.
We went out for dinner last night and had Sri Lankan curry - it’s made me want to try something new rather than sticking to Indian so this weekend I’ve suggested we try a recipe I have from Myanmar for a local version of a biryani.
Also I never need an excuse to use my little dip tray 😂
There wasn’t a huge amount left! (And I had some very nice lunches for the first half of the week!). We love entertaining, and particularly his parents as they’re always excited to try something new.
Love a bit of barley and it sounded amazing when you first told me!
I’m not saying I coordinate my crochet projects with my cat, but I’m also not saying I don’t…
Chunky chenille scarf (courtesy of the Aldi middle aisle, two quid per skein!) - had the yarn for over a year but it spoke to me this weekend.
Shot. Chaser.
Chicken shawarma, saffron rice and salads and dips various for lunch as Mr P told me at 8pm last night his folks were coming over today. 😂
Did emergency first aid training today for work. Part of it was learning how to use a defibrillator. Since defibs have become available, surviving an outside hospital cardiac event has gone from 1% to 75%. Take two seconds to find your nearest one.

I’m being overly dramatic to be fair. Someone made a really good (and kind) observation about me today and I realised they were right and they had my best interests at heart and I need to reflect on it.
When I’m stressed at work I don’t like to come in and sit straight down as I’ll dwell on things, so I’d rather be productive. Anyway, apropos of nothing, I made a banana and coconut loaf this evening.
Today’s rice dish took us to Korea and my attempt at a bibimbap. Also made bulgogi, and had a go at mayak “drug” eggs and I can very much see where they get the name from, I’ll be taking those for lunch tomorrow with some rice!
Hear me out, next series of the Traitors, only we cast him. #traitorsUK
Had a fantastic vegan curry cookery lesson today with Tiffins in Bristol and made a vegetable curry, a potato and spinach curry, incredible daal, and the fluffiest rice ever!
I am so with you. On the prince thing and also the wine.
IF YOU DO A 360 YOU COME BACK TO WHERE YOU STARTED LEANNE.
Sorry; that was your maths PSA for today. #thetraitors #traitorsUK
Thank god I’ve found someone who has the confidence to say this out loud.
Nothing makes me feel more like a 90s indie kid than my historic crush on Gavin Rossdale. #totp
This? Oh this is just a cat that was furious with me for working from home today so sat on the windowsill by my desk with her front legs jammed behind the radiator, while she metronomically kicked the blinds with her back feet, maintaining hard eye contact throughout.
It’s not! Rubs are very much welcomed.
I sautéed cumin seeds, mustard seeds, urad daal, and chana daal in ghee then added whole dried red chilli, fresh green chilli, hing, tumeric, curry leaves and day old cooked basmati rice and a load of lemon juice and roasted peanuts. No words do justice to how good this was.
South Indian lemon rice with roasted peanuts and curry leaves, chicken pathia, and Muttar paneer. My quest to try new rice dishes continues and this is the best thing I think I’ve ever cooked.
Home made blueberry ice cream - trying a new recipe and I’m very happy with it, next time I’d add a tad less vanilla and a little bit of honey.
Ignores me for hours then this…
I have no words.
I think it’s fair to say the not my cat to my cat pipeline is complete.
Yay!!!!
Yeah. That’s a thing now! And not my cat is now my actual cat, it’s been all go round here!
