I do truly need to watch it in Japanese, lol. The Japanese audio is fine! It's just the dub. I'm sure some people might not notice, though, it's just really glaring to me for some reason. 😅

I know it's not just the steelcase version but any of the DVD/bluray past 2009. I wish I still had my old version of the film, but in 1080p. That was the main reason for "upgrading". Such devastation... :') Awful distortion.

It's rly disappointing because tbh I enjoyed the OG Disney music. It made it feel more mature to me compared to the changes I've noticed so far. But mostly bc it's hard to listen to the dub now. It's very noticeable, not just to me. Surprised they were OK with releasing a version like this.

I got the steelcase Kiki's Delivery Service only to find that the studio changed the original English dub for the music and some lines to be more in-line with the OG Japanese version, & it compressed the audio. So Kiki's voice and some high-pitched lines sound like they're talking into a fan. 🥲
