remember the summer of maybe thereβs a shark in the water?
i knew that starting to get into roller derby in my mid thirties would mean that my body was banged up all the time, but i didnβt think my right thumb would consistently be the most injured part of my body each week.
thoughts and prayers to my chronically sprained right thumb.

ahhhh i love you so much!
thereβs a bakery near me that used to make the most unreal rose pistachio croissants. i would get them twice a week & then they just disappeared from the menu. anyway, today they have an orange blossom pistachio croissant and i gasped VERY loudly as if i had just seen the most delicious ghost.
iβm not experiencing another identity crisis, iβm just googling βadult space campβ for other very well balanced reasons.
iβm honored to have been recognized alongside so many incredible books and writers, including pressmate @jillmceldowney.bsky.social whose book otherlight is absolutely stunning!
thank you @yesyesbooks.bsky.social and @kmasullivan.bsky.social for championing scavenger. appreciate you so much!
iβve tried to play it cool all month, but iβm completely floored that the 2025 eric hoffer award was so generous with my chap!
scavenger was named the winner of the chapbook category, received the first horizon award for superior work by debut authors, and was short-listed for the grand prize.

Book cover of No Longer at This Address. A red to green to blue color gradient, shrubs and trees giving way to mountains. A satellite dish sits on the far left mountain. Foregrounded is a saber tooth tiger skill in a scratchy glass box.
I am absolutely thrilled to finally share the cover of No Longer at This Address. Out with University of Pittsburgh Press on Oct 21. Pre-order link is in the comments!

HI!!!! π
Every movie would be better with a creature.
iβm boring, baby. all i do is get migraines and talk about how i have another migraine.
Jenny Lewis and Ben Gibbard have spent the last two decades conspiring to bankrupt me, why is no one talking about this.
your outtie writes poems about the same three things over and over
