Maybe? I mean, even if it's not canonical that Birdo is, fans have agreed on it

Also Vivian in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is Trans, and they only made it MORE clear in the remake. It's a glorious example of how fun the first few Paper Mario games were.
But Vivian's gender isn't something I laugh about. "Twink" as a name no one seemed to realize was gay terminology is.
Let the queer, kinky gamer community never forget that Nintendo once granted us a character american localizers authentically named "Twink", likely with no idea that the term had any kind of sexy meaning:
papermario.fandom.com/wiki/Twink
Twink is Mario canon, and remembering that always amuses me.
Been there, my friend. Why does Past-me stick me with so many problems?
...ok, you know what? You all don't need to know the convoluted story of me failing up until I finally got home. It's long and mostly embarrassing. The take away is I got free and I'm home now.
At that point they were just going to seal me away in the Disney Vault as their IP forever and be done with it, so I concocted a daring scheme to talk my way out of it.
And when that didn't work, I concocted a daring scheme to bust out of the Disney Vault.
And when THAT didn't work...
I'm finally free.
After not finding anyone willing to pay more than thirty bucks for me, the ninjas donated me to a Disney Executive. He was excited to have slave labor as an unpaid actor for Jasmine's tiger in a Live Action Aladdin remake until his secretary reminded him they already did that one.
The ninjas are currently shopping around, trying to find someone who'll pay a ransom for me.
I'm simultaneously immensely flattered that people are willing to pay to rescue me, and a bit insulted no one's willing to pay more than 20.00 american, so far.
So anyways, the best thing about turning someone into a brainwashed submissive slut is- wait, I forgot to apply my ninja-repellant deodorant today!
*Is swarmed and carried off by ninjas to San Francisco*
Auuuuuugh!
*May remain kidnapped and unavailable until Feburary 28th*
Kinda, yeah!
James the Glaceon be chilling!
Come to think of it, that coffee's probably cold a few minutes ago-
Love it. <3
...welp, I was gonna say "top marks for you, Draconicon", but I think this response goes beyond "extra credit" and into the realm of "class, today I brought in a guest lecturer who is an expert in the field, let's all welcome professor Drac!"
Great answer!
Good one!
This is a variation of a question most writers of fiction have to answer when writing a fantasy story. And it's a good one to consider answers to. There's a lot of possible answers to the question, and making up your own unique spin is always fun. :)
Creative Writer Challenge #3:
Assume a fictional fantasy setting with at least one benevolent diety within it. If such a powerful entity exists, explain why they do not prevent the bad events within a story set within this setting.
Shhhhh. Don't move.
Everything is fine. Your visor is behaving normally. A minor update is being applied, during which you may notice small disturbances.
Please do not look away from the disturbances.
Please watch the spiral.
Relax. Stare. Do not resist.
A minor update is being applied~
Aw, thank you!
I don't think I need to repeat myself.
With this, I hope that these baseless and silly rumors have been laid to rest.
I'm going to go enjoy my Birthday now. I hope all you delicious people out there enjoy your day as well!
Despite what you may hear from others. I am NOT The Hungry Tiger.Β
I have never been to Oz before.Β
I do not work for its beautiful and magical Queen.
And I've never been tempted to devour a baby, or had any thoughts about how soft their meat would be or how marbled with fat they might be.
I rarely dip into the inky black morass known as Politics here on my furry social media presences.
But due to recent slanderous accusations against me, I feel a need to set the record straight (Even if I'm NOT)
As some (good?) Examples of the concept above:
- A pool noodle being a magic sword!
- A deep navy blanket being a cloak of invisibility
- A kiddie pool being the peak of a steaming volcano
- A neighbor's overly-affectionate dog becoming a fearsome monster!
Creative Writer Challenge #2:
Inspired by Earthbound, "Humans and Households", South Park, and various other firtations with the premise of child heroes! Pick three to five household objects and try to imagine what role or purpose they could have in a children's pretend LARPish-style adventure.
Hey, would you like to meet Terinas Tiger online and play silly party games with him?
Check out the below journal entry for how you can!

Creative Writer Challenge #1:Β
Pick a character of yours you enjoy writing for. Imagine 6 things that this character would never leave behind if they were planning to embark on a journey, regardless of what this journey is.
This helps us think of characters more as people instead of plot devices.

Also a reminder, you can help people in Minneapolis threatened by ICE abduction by donating to keep food in their bellies.
Part of this is to be more social, but also to dust off old writer exercises I learned in college meant to help writing be more vivid and to encourage writers to put more thought into characterization and setting.
And part of it is to just to distract myself in a fun way.
As part of my resolution to be more social on the furry side of my life, I've decided to resolve to do at least one Bluesky/Mastodon post a day.
Part of that is going to be making a series of "Creative Writer Challenges" for myself and other furry/nonfurry authors interested in chiming in on them.

If you want to help the people being raided in Minnesota by ICE right now, just ensuring they can have food in their stomachs helps a lot. Donate here if you have the money and desire to help.
Added a few more games and finished up entries for a bunch more on my big spreadsheet of Cool Free PC Games.
Considering that some are multi-game entries, that's over 350+ things to play, many of which are full, retail-worthy times.
If you've got any kind of PC, videogames are just kinda great.
