(The textured sock is k one row, k1p1 the next, repeat)
Yesterday, I started not one but two pairs of socks! Pretty sure that's related to this latest heatwave π₯΅...
Both socks are using spectrum fibre yarn - I just need all the socks on the needles so I can grab them for commuting etc...
What are you working on in this weather?

We finally tackled our garden this year and it's honestly bringing me joy every single day! π
I planted the Dianthus out too soon, so spent a good few weeks covering and uncovering them every day (frost!) in Feb but it's been so worth it! π

Burra Cowl by Marie Wallin - I couldn't love it any more, it's just so beautiful. π
The pattern was so fun and the Shetland yarn is just a dream, so I can't wait to wear this in Autumn.
I only needed 2.75 repeats for a slightly snugger cowl (as I don't like long drapey ones).

If you were invested in my Stripeometry shawl, I have some sad news: I ripped it out yesterday, after suddenly realising I didn't like the colours! π
I did enjoy the process when working on it though, so I'm not sad about it. On to other projects ππ§Ά

Inspired by @samantha-west.bsky.social I've started my own scrappy #stripeometry shawl π mine will fade from blues, to mints to purples and pinks π π§Ά

Amazing, thank you so much! π
Actually...do you by any chance know roughly how many grams of leftovers you used for it? π
Ahh it's so cool, I might need one right away?! ππ
Happy mother's day if you celebrate!
I received a million pictures, some chocolates and now am working a little on my #burracowl by Marie Wallin ππ§Ά

I have loved Marie Wallin's designs for years and years - and I wear my Lovage sweater all the time. The other day I finally got yarn for two more (accessory) designs of hers, starting with the Burra cowl. So far, it's really fun! π§Άπ
