A’Lemansra map A map of a single continent with a large desert in its center. It's done on toned paper with a few islands around it. The coastline has a large number of mountains around it with the civilizations situated along that same coast and in a few of the mountains as well with the interior very empty save for one large city situated at the confluence of two rivers before you reach the desert.

Ha-Nahn Map A map of a large continent that is shaped roughly like a curving letter T. The continent is roughly divided into thirds with a lush rainforest bordered by mountains to the north, an inland savannah in the middle and an arid desert surrounded by mountains that makes up most of the bottom third of the continent. Rivers and lakes dot the north and middle with only a single large river flowing outward toward the south in the desert region.

Emoris Map A map of Emoris, a fictional continent for my DnD setting. It has a large mountain range in the north west another in the south east and a desert just beyond it. The continent also has a huge inland sea.

I also do maps

A half body illustration of the character Loki from the Marvel universe, but in his frost giant (Jotun) form. He has a few braids on a shoulder length hair, with his classic horned helmet being more of a headband. He wears a large fur cape around his shoulders, as well as a large neck/chest piece with a knotwork pattern - the same pattern is repeated on his staff. He has a few marks on his face and chest, the ones he would have as a frost giant. He is also wearing gold and black pants, as well as golden bracers with fur. The background is dark blue on top and light blue below, as if it's snowing. His looks is very much inspired by his Marvel Rivals design, but I wanted to work on a more Norse God looking version of it - still as if it was one of his skins in game. That's why I chose the braided hair, lots of fur and detailed knotwork on the golden patches. The fur is also more on the gray side, as a little nod to Fenrir and a sort of "wolf in sheep's clothing" kind of thing.

A half body illustration I worked on as an attack for Art Fight, on Cyanorat's original character, Ophelia Pendragon. She is a witch queen of Avalon, wearing a light iridescent dress that contrasts with her deep, dark skin. She is wielding water, her magical element, while the background is deep blue with many shimmering stars.

There's also some faint words written above their head, very difficult to read: "black night, dark sky, the devils cry". It's part of the lyrics to the theme from the game Devil May Cry 3 (I added because I really like it).

Ayrmael, God of Creation A digital illustration of a massive divine dragon with purple and gold coloration. The massive beast flies over a mountain city with floating islands all around. As it turns in the sky its wings trail through clouds. The creature has a thick almost gorilla like body and stripes like a tiger but made of something like gold that seems to flow beneath its skin.

Spiritual Matters A Black man in African inspired clothing and short dreads holds a book glowing between his hands in a dark forest. A spirit with a face like a west African mask and glowing blue eyes looms menacingly above him. The man has a book holster under his arms indicating he is a mage scholar from his setting and he looks forward confidently. Glowing symbols, representing story magic come from the book and wrap around his hand and arm.

Mwindaji, Remnant Leader Image of Mwindaji, a named Remnant (a type of living weapon in Ha-Nahn that is formed when a weapon absorbs so much hatred and malice from its owner that it tries to keep on fighting even after that person dies) stalking forward through an eerie yellow orange night with a full moon. She wears a purple torn and tattered garment with great blades for her arms and a masked, eyeless face. She leads a small troop of others behind her as though prepared to destroy an unsuspecting village. Her body is full of indications of damage from previous battles and yet she still exists.

As custom I'll kick us off. I'm Aaron and I make fantasy art focused on non-Eurocentric stories and I seem to just really love painting things that'd be absolutely gargantuan.

It's a closeup on the face of the character - Dante, from the Devil May Cry game series. On the canvas, there's a reference on the left, a photo from the DMC 5 game taken by Drusoona, while on the right there's a sketch of what I'm working on, featuring a few changes - mostly on hair and adding a smirk, while he is looking to his side. So far, there's only a basic coloring of his face, mouth and eyes, no hair, eyebrows or beard. You can see very lightly, the sketch over which I'm working on to paint the whole illustration.

Oh I can just imagine! First time I ever got good quality colored pencils, the tips were sooo soft I was in awe hahaha my mom constantly steals them to paint xD

Four samples of portrait/bust illustrations done by me On the top left corner, there are two original characters of mine, Blitz and Agni. They are punks, wearing spiky collars and wristbands, chains and leather gloves. He has spiky metallic red hair and silver eyes, while she has metallic yellow/gold hair and aqua green eyes. On the top right corner, it's an illustration of an original character by comikbook, a vampire western girl named Mercy. She is holding a rifle, wearing mostly brown and black wild west clothes and a hat, while having a cigarette on her mouth and an eye-patch on her right eye. The background is simple, but with some wild west embellishments, as if she is in front of the sun during the sunset. On the bottom left, it's an illustration of an original character of mine, a vampire lord named István. He is casually leaning on his sword, though still with a regal pose, wearing simple black clothes and a long, red cape. He is tall and pale, with blue eyes and wavy black hair down to his waist. Four samples of half-body illustrations done by me On the top left corner, it's an illustration of two original characters of mine, Mick and Angie. They are, well, dead, playing in a rock band in the afterlife. Mick is wearing heavy Halloween make-up resembling a skeleton while playing the bass, while Angie is singing and holding him from behind. The background is simple, with the lyrics to "I put a spell on you". On the top right corner, it's an illustration of two original characters of mine, Mihai and Kathleen. They are vampire hunters, Mentor and Apprentice, casually leaning on their swords during a rare calm afternoon, side by side. Mihai has tanner skin and brown, slightly long, braided hair, wearing mostly light colored simple clothes, while Kathleen has very pale blond hair and skin, with dark make-up around her eyes, while wearing mostly dark, simple but embellished clothes. They are both covered in healed scars. The background is a simple sky with bushes/trees behind them. On the bottom left corner, it's an illustration of the original character Ophelia Pendragon by cyanorat. She is a sorcerer, Queen of Avalon, wearing an opal dress with long sleeves, a detailed necklace and a crown. She has dark skin and deep blue eyes, like the water magic she wields and like the night sky behind her. On the top right corner, there are two original characters of mine, Alastor and Nyx. They are from a cyberpunk style story. Alastor has purple, shoulder length hair and golden eyes, wearing mostly red leather clothes. Nyx has pool blue short hair with a chrome plaque on the left side of her head and purple eyes, wearing mostly black leather clothes and having the left side of her body covered in burn scars. She also has a tattoo across her belly written "Huntress". The background is simple, with words and stains as if it's graffiti, written things like "No Gods".

She is a witch, wearing a black dress, long black gloves, a wide black witch hat and a puffy, long white fur coat. She has long brown hair and pink eyes, having a cigarette holder between her fingers. The background is a simple pink one with a frame. On the top right corner, it's an illustration of Eric Draven from The Crow, as played by Brandon Lee in the 94 movie. He is perched almost like a bird over Shelly's tombstone, under the rain. It was very much inspired by James O'Barr's original illustrations. On the bottom left corner, it's an illustration from my original vampire character, István, but this time in his vampire form. He is still tall, pale and with dark wavy hair down to his waist, but now his hands are like black claws, with the color extending up to half of his arms, as if inside his veins. His eyes are bright red, his lips are darker and there are darker patches around his eyes. He also has bat like wings and is covered in blood. A lot of it. On the bottom left corner, it's an illustration based on the song Cirice by the band Ghost. It shows the band's frontman at the time, Terzo, wearing white and gold Pope clothes, holding a shepherd staff and having one of his hands resting on a woman's shoulder, who is standing in front of him. She is all black, covered in blood, with her heart bright red in the middle of her chest, while holding a white little lamb with one of her hands and reaching back for him with her other hand (she was based on Carrie, from the 70's movie). He has a broken halo around his head, surrounded with stars. The background is a simple red/brown one, resembling religious paintings.

Found my 1st sketchbook! And damn it's been a journey! I did stop drawing for maybe 5-6 years between then and now, and only started study fundamentals seriously about 7-8 years ago. Started exploring digital in 2018. Not a single regret! 🤘
