I feel like there was still a lot the show could’ve done with their characters & storylines, rather than wrapping them up in a rush so we could move onto the timeskip. I wonder what Horizons would look like now if that was the case!

I kinda miss when these three were the main focus of Pokémon Horizons 🥲

Imagine the peak of Misty bringing Horsea to Johto and evolving it up to a Kingdra 😭

Tbh Chronicles mostly just feels like an extension/spinoff of OS so I kinda consider them the same thing haha, but yeah you’re right!

in hindsight it really bothers me that the whole of the battle frontier arc was set in kanto, and yet we saw almost zero returning characters from ash’s kanto journey… it would’ve been SUCH a perfect opportunity to bring back gym leaders, one-off filler characters, etc!

i lovedddd the sabrina or nessa debates at that time, i wish it couldve been one of them!

And as for Roy, I loved Fuecoco & Wattrel’s bond in early Horizons but then it vanished entirely ever since 💔

Dot's Pokemon team genuinely feels like a family... they have such great chemistry, bonds, interactions... it's crazy to me that they're leagues above Liko & Roy's teams in that way!
