The only problem I had with the later seasons was the short seasons not giving the new cast enough room to establish themselves.

They laid the groundwork for the relationship storyline in season 3 so I think Harmon was on board but if season 4 had been a full 22-episode order they would've bailed mid-season.

I am an ardent defender of seasons 5 & 6. Worlds within worlds.

The gasleak, and episode reduction, also didn't help. I feel like under normal production circumstances they would've cut their losses on Troy & Britta much quicker and more gracefully.
