I think I really just hate what I am and I’m too tired and hate myself too much to want to fix myself.

The idea of feeling the need to tap back in to try and win it all back, even if you're coming back in smaller

Having to face a bigger mountain of an opponent

The high of the chance to topple that and come out wildly rich is too alluring

It's enough to forget the fear.

Well there's always the Discord Poker app, and being able to tap back in after losing all your money, while the person in still keeps it.

Each loss literally becomes more of an uphill battle

We love that hopelessness..

I can be pretty good at poker too, though how good I decide to be is mood-dependent

And I'm feeling not very good at poker rn-

I COULD be the reverse, and be the one that's taking YOUR size, and pitting YOU in an unwinnable scenario just to watch you squirm

Walking in with like 10k, playing against someone that's looming overhead with 100k

Checking on the first go-around, the other person raises by, in their terms, a "paltry" 5k.

Betting half my bank, just because.

And even if they lose, it's not a big loss, even if it's everything to me.

I like the idea of going into it already having it stacked against me. The person's already taken the starting buy-in's of several others so their raises can be way larger and more devastating to a person walking in.

Is it fair? Hell no.

Is it hot? Absolutely.

Me: "I really want a scene where Idris is left dying with a bleeding hole in his right eye (as a twisted simulacra of Glory's intentions) after Glory takes over Idris and goes on a rampage that triggers global conflict."

Also me: "Okay but what if Idris and Glory slay-queen'd for a bit beforehand?"

How it feels trying to figure out Glory's arc of the lore-
