Beetronics Octahive V2 is a modern take on the 70's Tycobrahe Octavia. The shield design on the V2 was inspired by Jimi Hendrix's military jacket.
The V2 adds a double tap to change octive fuzz to a less insane fuzz and momentary operation.
Wanted this for awhile now.
No, vibrato is change in pitch, tremolo is change in volume.
Tremolo also mixes extremely well with chorus and phaser.
I use both, but hesitate to buy a modulation pedal that does just one thing. MultiFX like the TCE Pethora are nice for figuring out what you like.
On my gig board I'm currently using The Botanist which has Chorus/Vibe, Phaser and Harmonic Trem.
