Just getting towards the end of Act 1 in my first honor mode play through in Baldurs Gate 3

The gameplay they showed in the trailer simply did not exist in the final game. Graphics were like an entire console generation different. Vehicle handling was the worst ever seen in an open world game. The map was unfinished, roads finished into the side of buildings, there were invisible walls…

They promised to never charge for heroes with ow1, so they just stuck a 2 on the box to get around it, not
much else changed, they pretended in the beginning they were going to add a bunch of cool stuff, didn’t bother. Then nobody bought heroes so they made them free anyway so ow2 essentially = ow1

Probably watch dogs for me, I was so hyped from everything they had shown, and then they just…. released an entirely different game, the promotional material was a complete fabrication, that was the first example I can remember of egregious “vertical slice” marketing to scam gamers out of their cash

I’m so excited! 3k hours and counting on PoE1, we’re getting alternating leagues, how am I going to have time to play anything else 😂

Just started wayfinder this evening! Seems like a lot of fun! Love me a good loot game ❤️
