It gives the kick some attack at the front and helps it cut through the mix. I use a transient over most of my LSDJ kicks

A pretty standard LSDJ WAV channel kick I use in my LSDJ tunes. Inspired by some tips I received from @flippendo.bsky.social This one is fairly loud but the key trick is putting a short length noise transient on the noise channel to play in conjunction with it. 9.4.0. #lsdj #chipsky
