The recent unconstitutional war taken by the current administration is reckless at best and dangerous at worst. Putting service members in harm’s way should be taken with the gravest of consequences in mind. Unconstitutional consequences are as serious as the results they cause. “This is not Iraq” says the same people that have lied to the American people since day one. Healthcare costs have skyrocketed, grocery prices are out of control, and now gas prices are next. Forgive me if I don’t believe you. Forgive me if western North Carolina doesn’t believe you, because we don’t. Furthermore, we still have elected officials who haven’t even issued a statement condemning these actions. We still have candidates who are silent. Candidates need to be able to answer tough and fair questions from voters. Every single voter should know where each candidate definitively stands on issues. In my opinion, if you can’t stand against actions like this, then you have no business running for office...
The “No New Wars” president just started another war, illegally, without congressional approval. FULL STOP.
He bombed children, put American lives one the line, and further eroded our international reputation. This kind of behavior will not stand when I’m in Congress.
