A project I was very happy to have a part in is now available. The Lark Piano Method, by Vivian Lark is a multicultural music lesson book funded through a Minnesota State Arts Board grant. My commissioned portrait of Louis Armstrong is in the book among other artists’ musician portraits. 🎶🎹🎺

I haven’t posted here in a long while. I am in process of moving, took a job 3 hours away. I still have nowhere to live, started the job this last week. Very frustrating. All my art supplies, and my whole life, are boxed up so enjoy my roomies and one of my freelance bouquets ft local product.

I did that last year, it was a good experience. Had the other train on they way to CHI and the Borealis for the return. The other one is double decker but also pretty dirty and beat up. Nice staff and the ride was fine. The Borealis was clearly a newer train. Have a great time!

I attended a Resistance! Art exhibit, hosted by artist Brian Frink at his studio. Here are a few favorites and also my piece. Mine is the first of my originals from The Authoritarian Regime Survival Guide to be shown. It was a great festival and the crowd was full of grass roots energy!
