I live in Chicago, and to visit my family in Michigan (also in the Midwest!) it is a 7.5 hour drive. Thats the same estimate as the drive from London to Edinburgh. I WISH a train was an option.

This week in our #homeschool - Teen is starting work on an essay for a contest, reading The Last Cuentista, & doing Algebra, Prehistory, Biology, & rehearsals as usual. These last 8 weeks have been SUPER busy so we are looking forward to some upcoming spring break days at the end of the month. <3

Dear Women’s USA Olympic Hockey Team — First, congratulations! Second: I drove race cars for 19 yrs & the amount of misogynistic crap I put up with in the garage was insane. Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
