This Review by Bailenson et al presents five canonical psychological research findings in VR over the past three decades. These findings have been consistently replicated, and are useful for both researchers and users of VR.
Learning to fly a plane? Practicing speaking before a large crowd? #VirtualReality is great. Attending mundane meetings, answering email? Not so much. Check out the findings from a review of 30 years of #VR research led by @stanfordvr.bsky.social

While the governmentβs funding boost is a welcome first step, many hospices are facing a tough financial situation, like those in North Yorkshire.
Hospices must be part of local funding decisions for long term sustainability.

This image features a promotional graphic for a guest blog titled "Productivity, Focus, and Parenthood" by Emily Spencer, a PhD student at University College London. The visual depicts a stylised scene with Emily sitting at a cluttered desk, surrounded by books and papers labelled "PHD." She is writing in a notebook while glancing at a laptop screen. In the foreground, a baby is reaching towards a guitar, symbolising the balance between academic pursuits and parenting. Emily Spencer's photo is placed in the top right corner, affirming her authorship.
