I forgot how much I love working with students on the clinic floor. Been helping some necropsy students over the last few weeks and it's been super fun! Had a textbook nutmeg liver on a possum yesterday which was super neat.

And one step further . . . Whenever people complain about the homeless people in their area -- Over half of the homeless population works *at least* one job. Those jobs don't pay enough, and/or don't schedule enough hours for them to not be homeless, especially given the predatory landlord schemes.

I feel grief for seeing wildlife in such a state because I want them to succeed out there. So then the thought process I go to next is "How do I help the others succeed then?" I saw another comment mention how to mitigate human-caused wildlife deaths, which I think is a great idea.
