When I was in my 20s I had a pair of combat boots, sandals, and maybe running shoes. Now: 2x running shoes, combat boots; tall, calf-high, and short fashion boots; 2 pairs running shoes; 1 pair shiny work shoes. Is this adulting? I feel like this is sorta adulting.

I think what I am going to do is every time I think of something I want to buy on Prime or whatever, I am going to send the money to my backup bank account and just watch how much I save over time, not buying things I don’t actually NEED.

This has been my mindset since election night. One of grim determination. But even that is still determination. We don’t panic: we plan.
