Bought this in a heartbeat because I either forgot about it or didn't even know about the original release. Seems very up my alley considering I love 3/4 of these guys (and don't even know the 4th lol)
I've always said that I'm a fake Pokemon fan. I like the franchise, but I've never gotten into the mainline RPGs. Just a rare case of a formula not being my cup of tea. But whenever good spinoffs come about, I'm so there.
I can see myself streaming more of it and editing my own videos similar to those that I spend so much time watching. All that stands in my way is a severe lack of time...
My heart is really pushing for me to get into streaming rando / Archipelago content beyond just DK64. Been obsessed with watching AP videos and have played a number of games myself. If any old speedrun community friends want to invite me to a lobby sometime, my DMs are open!
In Donkey Kong 64, the Giant Spider miniboss can only be fought once. Modifying the game to fight it a second time makes it unceremoniously explode. While this appears to be a glitch, examining the code reveals it was actually deliberately added for the developers' own amusement.

While I know many of you are looking forward to playing Many Mini Typing Games on February 9th, I’m sad to announce that while it is still coming out on February 9th it will be delayed by 30-40 seconds. This is a result of me misreading the cooking instructions on my celebratory frozen pizza rolls. I know this is disappointing, but good things take time. Approximately 30-40 seconds more time. I don’t want my pizza rolls to be undercooked. I hope you can extend some grace. There’s a famous quote from Shigeru Miyamoto. However, it is in Japanese and I do not speak Japanese. I’m sure it’s really wise though because Super Mario kinda rules. Also does anyone know how to get free robux? My adult son is like, totally addicted to this game on roblox but I’ve had to forbid access to my credit card because he spent like, $15,000 on them the other month. Let me know. Game complete, though! Was a good time. I can understand complaints of the game feeling too linear and hollow, but I still enjoyed it regardless.
Dang maybe I'm sleeping on it a bit lol. Didn't quite finish it up but spent a good few hours in a friend's living room passing the keyboard around to play the mini games. Loved the extreme silliness it had going on.

I really have no major gripes, but if I'm being particular, this definitely always bugged me. There are so many more patches and they take up so much more estate on the screen with their erratic movement as you pick them up. It gets a bit messy.

The past few days I've been working on a brand new tool which shows all 216 maps in DK64 in various modes (geometry, collision etc) all within the web browser, and I finally have it in a state where it's ready for others to play with.

It's rare for me to stay engaged with a game for even 15-20 hours, and here I was glued to the game right up through hour 63. I have my gripes with certain points of the game, but I think the highs are higher than Hollow Knight for me. Definitely my GOTY.
Got 100% in Silksong and then proceeded to complete everything else available to me to finish it off. All relics, all mementos (includes all Hunter's Journal entries), all shops bought out, all secrets (as far as I'm aware). This game was a blast.

KIRBY AIR RIDERS LOOKS AMAZING!! Hearing the music and sounds from the original game made me emotional, man. I think my anticipation for this game is even higher than Donkey Kong, and that's already a very high bar. Switch 2 is off to a killer first year for me.
