'Curtain Up' by Julius Green (2015). I just finished re-reading this book filled with wonderful insights from extensive research into #agathachristie's stage plays & was again impressed by how much great content there is. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. #bookrecommendations #stageplay

'Evil Under the Sun' by #agathachristie was published in 1941 just two weeks before Germany invaded Russia giving its title a unique weight in those dark days. This is the UK 1st edition w/ its wonderful map of Smuggler's Island (Burgh Island). #firstedition #rarebooks

Nick, They aren't mysteries at all but general narrative fiction mostly dealing with relationships. If you've not read any I would recommend starting with 'Unfinished Portrait' as it is very autobiographical. Second I'd recommend is 'Absent in the Spring' and third 'Giant's Bread'. All the best.

I love this new cover for #agathachristie 'Third Girl' (1966), illustrated by Stephen Millership - it both invites curiosity & evokes the 60s through its architecture really well. #coverart #bookcover

This surprisingly scarce 1954 'Corgi' paperback of The Murder on the Links by #AgathaChristie is the first traditional paperback of this title (excl. Bodley Head's 1932 larger 9d softback). I like the reference to #herculepoirot as 'Ace of Detectives'!
