we also got a new washing machine this year. it washes and dries in one machine. its very exciting, like a oopart from a brighter future.
it's hard to fully appreciate this, and other things, because the growing pit I feel about...everything. this piece really nails that feeling on the head.

I busted the control unit for my mask cam. I designed it in a kind of dumb way, so it was a good opportunity to redesign the whole unit, and even make some nice little upgrades, like exposed antenna, passive cooling, and visible battery indicator. This version is belt worn now.

At the end of the day though, it's pure fantasy. Billionaires and tyrants don't end up in jail where they belong in reality. There is no superhero to save us from hellish reality. It's nice to dream though.
When I first saw the trailer for Superman, I was worried it'd be another mess of a DC movie, introducing to many things in to little time. Saw it today, and it's surprisingly good. The characters that needed screen time, got screen time.
So...I forgot to set a timer and my flask cooled to 155 C. I said f it and heated the silver a bit higher then normal and casted it anyway. It actually...turned out better then then normal?
