Back from a weekend visiting my mum & my aunt now my aunt is out of hospital and had such a lovely weekend with them 🥰

Did a lil workshop with my aunt to have her teach me patterning for the fursuit biz stuff and she was amazed as how good my appliqué was compared to some of her college students 🥹

Does this mean I can be backpaid the decade I spent in retail and customer service where I was verbally abused daily with no wage increase? Nah I didn’t think so. This country and gov disgusts me honestly

Yeah! After a lotta searching for a speed option on the machine itself I learned mine doesn't have one cause its one of the cheaper models. But I found a sneaky hack on Youtube. After pulling apart and tweaking the pressure sensitivity setting on my sewing machines foot pedal, it moves at a much more controllable speed!

Have finally sussed appliqué & gotten a super neat finish! Genuinely proud of the progress I’m making in such a short time 💜
