Yes that's pretty perfect. Can we also identify a certain strand of folk horror as when a certain landscape (rural or wilderness, also often isolated) becomes an almost sentient, living force itself that threatens human occupants and visitors?
Saw Bob Weir's Ratdog for the first and only time at the final version of the tiny festival Canterbury Fayre in Kent in 2003, also on the bill: Arthur Lee and Love, Incredible String Band (Mike H and friends), Roy Harper, Robert Plant, Alasdair Roberts, Buzzcocks. RIP.
